On May 4, 2008, at the headquarters of the National Federation of Civil Protection Volunteers Corps, he is the presidential national team (EN D). Identify the elements that put together, was not an easy undertaking, because the Federation, based in Puglia, has assets of over 4000 volunteers throughout the region and numerous groups in Lombardy, Campania, Calabria , Emilia Romagna, Umbria and Basilicata, and is undergoing a rapid expansion of aggregating many non-profit organizations throughout Italy. Strongly supported by the National President Giuseppe D'Auria, the team will be, therefore, images of the Federation, the flagship of the various realities of the South and not voluntary. The members of the very select group, coordinated by the responsible dott.sa Lucrezia Maggi, will net around a project born in Puglia, in a system that, necessarily, will the focus of its action, the South and its many problems but that will involve each of Civil protection associations that form part of the Federation . Composed, at the time, the team, five men and two women, all of Puglia and already active components of various organizations of civil protection. Will be evaluated in the future, other skills that will complement those already existing within the same.
